Qube Ports is a leading provider of port solutions and logistics services in Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia. Our company boasts over 40 ports with bulk and general handling facilities, as well as managing 25 sites for the forestry industry in Australia and New Zealand.

We cater to various sectors, including energy, providing supply chain logistics services that support thousands of onshore wells and rig supply vessels, barges, and offshore construction vessels annually.

About The Role

The Bid Writer's primary objective is to assist our divisions with their bid management and sales delivery opportunities. You will work closely with business units to formulate winning sales strategies and draft compelling proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and submit high-quality tender responses through all stages of the bid process, from EOI to RFT, negotiation, and contract award.
  2. Create professionally written proposal and pitch content that effectively communicates Qube Ports' value proposition and win themes.
  3. Manage and update the bid collateral library as necessary, used to supplement future bids.
  4. Collaborate with technical teams to gain insight into proposed tenders, determining whether to provide a submission.
  5. E nsure win themes align with client requirements.
  6. Interface with the Project Team to support bids/proposals.
  7. Develop high-quality responses to favourable tenders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to standards.
  8. Manage the submission process of response documents to prospective customers.
  9. Seek detailed feedback on wins and losses to inform future decision-making.
Requirements
  1. A minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  3. Possess a passion for writing and meticulous proof-reading skills.
  4. Be commercially astute to understand common phrases and negotiation processes in tender submissions.
  5. Able to multitask and resourcefully solve issues with competing priorities.
Salary Range

$90,000 - $110,000 per annum.
