Senior Content Strategist for Business Development

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Content Strategist to join our team at Redpath Partners. As a key member of our business development unit, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's growth and success by managing and creating compelling content for bids, proposals, and new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Content Development: Develop, write, and edit high-quality content for bids, proposals, and new business opportunities that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  2. Team Collaboration: Work closely with our business development teams across all operational business units to understand their content needs and provide expert advice on content strategy and development.
  3. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of submissions developed by our bid teams, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
  4. Bid Review and Improvement: Review bids and proposals, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable recommendations to enhance their effectiveness.
  5. Knowledge Management: Manage and update our company's knowledge base to support business development activities, ensuring that our teams have access to the latest information and resources.
Your Background:
  • Experience: 5+ years of demonstrated experience in content or bid writing, or a similar discipline.
  • Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge and experience in business development and proposals/bids writing, preferably within the Utilities, Telecommunications, Transport, and Defence & Social Infrastructure sectors.
What We Offer:

As a Senior Content Strategist at Redpath Partners, you can expect a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
