NITV, a First Nations-led organisation, seeks an experienced Senior Indigenous Content Specialist to join its team.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Indigenous TV content and be able to develop effective content strategies that cater to diverse audiences.

This role requires strong communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure seamless content delivery.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be adept at using Microsoft products, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. They will also be passionate about curating content that showcases the richness and diversity of Indigenous cultures.

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Australian and international content suppliers
  • Ensure acquisitions content framework aligns with NITV content strategy
  • Work closely with the NITV Programmer to ensure acquired content meets schedule requirements
  • Contribute key information to meetings and strategies regarding Indigenous content on SBS OnDemand
  • Understand NITV departments' content priorities and slate across the reputational calendar
  • Schedule, publish, and feature content on-time without error
  • Suggest and develop concepts for content placement and collections on SBS OnDemand and NITV Channel page

What You'll Need:

  • Strong knowledge of Indigenous TV content
  • Audience-focused approach
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Photoshop

Estimated Salary Range: AU$85,000 - AU$110,000 per annum
