Senior Practitioner in Family Services

As a Senior Practitioner in Family Services, you will play a vital role in coordinating referrals and cases for families requiring support. You will work closely with Child Protection services to promote child safety and enhance family functioning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Referral coordination and case allocation
- Risk and needs assessments, short-term case management, and provision of an active holding function to children and families
- Supporting families to develop parenting capacity and address complex family dynamics

Requirements- Tertiary qualification in Social Work or related field
- Current Driver's license valid in Victoria
- Demonstrated experience in case management and the child and family welfare sector
- Experience working with young people who have experienced abuse and trauma
- Understanding of the implications of abuse and trauma
