Visionary Family Services Manager

The Team Leader role is a leadership position that provides coordination and mentoring support to Practitioners and Senior Practitioners within the Orange Door.
This role works in partnership with the Orange Door Leadership team to develop and implement an integrated practice model, focusing on delivering a high-quality service response for families in need.
- We provide support for women, children, young people, and families experiencing or having experienced family violence.
- We also cater to individuals who use violence and those requiring assistance with the care, development, and wellbeing of unborn babies, infants, children, and young people.
The Orange Door Program brings together workforces from various organisations to deliver an integrated practice model and consolidated intake point. This collaborative effort focuses on providing services to vulnerable families who require extra support with the care, development, and wellbeing of their children.
We prioritize supporting families who require additional help with parenting and childcare issues, particularly in situations where there are protective concerns.

Your Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will bring significant management experience in the child, youth, and family welfare sector. A sound understanding of family and parenting issues, especially in the context of protective concerns, is essential.
This role requires a Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification, or 5 years of relevant professional experience. You must also hold a valid and current Driver's Licence.
