Senior Case Manager

The Senior Family Services Practitioner (Allocations Coordinator) role involves coordinating all aspects of case management, referral entry, engagement and allocation from Child FIRST/The Orange Door.
Key Responsibilities- Risk assessments, short term case management and active holding functions for children and families referred to the Family Services Program.
- Families are supported to enhance parenting capacity, family functioning and promote child safety through various initiatives.
- Collaboration with Child Protection teams to develop innovative approaches and mentor team members implementing these approaches in working with families, children and young people.
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or related disciplines.
- A valid Victorian driver's license.
- Demonstrated experience in the community services sector in a case management role.
- Demonstrated experience in the child and family welfare field, specifically in Child Protection, Out of Home Care, Family Services and other services supporting vulnerable families and children.
- Experience working with young people who have experienced abuse and trauma.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
