The role of Team Leader is a critical position within the Orange Door Program. As a leader, you will provide guidance and support to a team of practitioners and senior practitioners. The successful candidate will work closely with the program leadership team to develop and implement high-quality services for families in need.
About the ProgramThe Orange Door Program brings together workforces from various organizations to deliver an integrated practice model and consolidated intake point for families experiencing or having experienced family violence. The program also supports families requiring assistance with the care and development of unborn babies, infants, children, and young people.
Our organization focuses on providing services to vulnerable families who require extra support. We are committed to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of practitioners and senior practitioners
- Work collaboratively with the program leadership team to develop and implement service responses
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and community groups
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification
- Significant management experience within child, youth, and family welfare sector
- A sound understanding of family and parenting issues, especially in the context of protective concerns
- Commitment to working with marginalized groups, including Indigenous and CALD clients
