Vero Insurance is seeking a talented and experienced Strategic Account Development Manager - Workers Compensation to join our team. This permanent, full-time role is based in Sydney or Newcastle CBD.

The estimated salary for this position is AU$100,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, plus benefits.

About the Role

This vital role involves developing and maintaining relationships with intermediaries, end clients, and internal stakeholders. You will leverage existing broker and end customer relationships to provide a complete solution to their insurance needs.

  • Account managing specified Workers Compensation clients, including national employer accounts across respective jurisdictions
  • Manage and support strategic relationships with allocated key end clients and associated intermediaries
  • Retention of key accounts across workers compensation product lines, including support in renewal process where required
  • Support new business in Workers Compensation in line with our growth targets
  • Implement strategies aimed at growing our participation on other lines through existing key client relationships
  • Analyse our customer base and provide feedback on performance and opportunities.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the Workers Compensation industry
  • Proven capabilities in managing relationships with end clients and intermediaries
  • Strong customer service background
  • Proficient understanding of workers compensation claims and profitability
  • Proven capability to achieve operational and strategic deliverables in a complex environment with shifting priorities.
