**Senior Business Development Manager Role Summary**
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing new business opportunities in the road freight market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue strategic business opportunities in road freight markets to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to establish strong relationships with clients and prospects.
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
- Presentation skills needed to present to prospective clients and negotiate terms that align with business objectives.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of sales experience in the transport industry, preferably within LTL, FTL, or interstate freight forwarding.
- Demonstrated ability to win new business and achieve revenue targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of road freight operations, pricing models, and customer requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work autonomously to achieve goals.
