Job Description:

A seasoned senior business development manager with expertise in road freight sales, including LTL, FTL, and by-the-hour services is sought. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in generating new business and driving revenue growth in the transport industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in road freight markets through market research and targeted customer outreach.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to establish new client relationships, leveraging strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and meet client expectations.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to prospective clients, aligning with business objectives and profitability targets.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals that drive business growth and revenue expansion.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales experience in the transport industry, preferably within LTL, FTL, or interstate freight forwarding.
  • Demonstrated ability to win new business and achieve revenue targets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of road freight operations, pricing models, and customer requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
