Cogent Thinking is a leading provider of injury prevention and care coordination services. We are seeking a candidate to work in a casual or part-time capacity, available on weekends and Friday evenings.

Job Overview

This role involves connecting with injured employees and their managers to support them through workplace injuries. The successful candidate will offer triage, first aid advice, support, and link clients into available resources and services.

  • Support and care for clients with empathy and expertise to enhance personal health and wellbeing goals.
  • Coordinate supports and wellbeing services for a highly engaged client population.
  • Provide initial early intervention Triage with clients, supporting both physical and mental health services.
  • Undertake relevant case coordination activity including liaison with stakeholders, provision of email updates, and creation of appropriate documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experienced Allied Health practitioner with full registration or a Registered Nurse.
  • Hold a current and valid Working With Children Check.
  • Evidence of completion of First Aid or Basic Life Support training.
  • A caring and empathic nature.
  • Experience in care coordination or occupational rehabilitation desirable.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT and time management skills.
  • A strong customer service focus.
