Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Workplace Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in minimizing the impact of workplace injuries and illnesses through proactive prevention and rehabilitation strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in injury prevention and rehabilitation, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be responsible for conducting worksite assessments, collaborating with health practitioners, and organizing rehabilitation activities to support clients in their return-to-work journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive worksite assessments to identify potential hazards and develop targeted interventions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective rehabilitation plans
  • Organize and deliver rehabilitation activities, including Pilates and hydrotherapy programs
  • Review medical reports and conduct ergonomic assessments to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Professional registration in a relevant field (e.g., exercise physiology, occupational therapy)
  • Strong knowledge of injury prevention and rehabilitation principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one
