Job Title: Injury Management Advisor

About the Role

This role is responsible for managing workers' compensation and injury management cases in accordance with legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing return-to-work strategies for injured employees
  • Collaborating with insurers, healthcare providers, and rehabilitation specialists to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Providing specialist training, coaching, and consultation to site leadership and teams
  • Maintaining accurate injury management records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Supporting initiatives to improve workplace health, safety, and injury prevention
Requirements
  • Experience in workers' compensation and injury management (an allied health background is highly desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation legislation and best practice injury management strategies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, OHS, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Nursing, or a related health science field (highly desirable, but not essential)
