The role of a Workplace Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation Specialist is to deliver effective injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions that enable individuals and organisations to achieve their full potential.
About the Role:- Support people to return to meaningful engagement in occupations and activities
- Evaluate treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness, developing tailored plans to promote optimal recovery and well-being
- Help clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications, and interests, providing guidance on career development and growth opportunities
- Conduct various assessments depending on area of clinical expertise, utilising evidence-based practices to inform decision-making and drive positive outcomes
- Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate, and monitor client progress toward return-to-work goals, fostering collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate achievement of business objectives
- Engage with relevant professionals and build strong relationships to facilitate achievement of business objectives, promoting a culture of collaboration and mutual support
- Professional registration with a relevant governing body
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as occupational therapy or a related discipline
- Current certification in areas relevant to the role, including Working with Children Check and National Criminal History Check upon successful application
