Your Role:

As the Sales Director for the ANZ region, you will serve as the primary Sales leader for the Performance Management Unit (PMU) and will be an integral member of the ANZ Leadership Team.

This position entails the responsibility of achieving profitable sales volume, gross margin, and profit targets by providing strategic direction to the ANZ PMU. You will translate brand strategies into actionable sales plans and budgets tailored for various countries, channels, and customers. Additionally, you will oversee customer category planning, shopper marketing, and the execution of assortment, merchandising, pricing, and shelving strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement sales strategies that align with PMU objectives and brand goals, ensuring the achievement of volume, margin, and profit targets.
  • Lead customer engagement initiatives to foster growth in Net Customer Sales, Gross Margin, and Profit.
  • Oversee all customer-facing sales operations across ANZ, including management of key customer relationships in various channels.
  • Drive the development of a high-performing sales team, focusing on talent growth and capability enhancement.
  • Ensure efficient order-to-cash processes and maintain rigorous financial controls.
  • Conduct strategic planning sessions with key customers to align on long-term growth initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years in leadership roles with experience managing teams.
  • At least 10 years of experience in sales across multiple channels, including Retail Grocery.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in managing key retail partnerships.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
