Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion of our SME Banking Client Portfolio in Melbourne. As a key driver of business development, you will establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service and outcomes.

About the Role:

  • You will take ownership of business development by directly engaging with businesses in your network and the wider community.
  • Establish and nurture credible, long-term relationships, ensuring positive customer outcomes while representing the organisation with professionalism and expertise.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and secure new business through first-party engagement and direct client acquisition.
  • An in-depth understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by Melbourne's small-to-medium businesses.
  • Exceptional networking skills, with the ability to build and sustain meaningful professional relationships.
  • Experience in commercial lending and financial analysis.
  • Proven success in business development, with a track record of meeting and exceeding growth targets.
  • A degree in business, finance, or a related discipline (highly regarded).

Compensation and Benefits:

This exciting opportunity offers a competitive remuneration package, estimated at around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on industry standards and market conditions.
