Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the management of our catering operation, including menu development, kitchen operations, and team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Menu Development: Create innovative and delicious menu options that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the evolving tastes and preferences of our customers.
- Kitchen Operations: Assist the Executive Chef in the management of kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional service and quality food products.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs for new team members, apprentices, and trainees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
Requirements
- Culinary Qualifications: Formal qualifications in commercial cookery and a minimum of 5 years of post-qualified experience in a similar role.
- Culinary Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of food trends, menu development, and kitchen operations.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of culinary professionals, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
