Job Opportunity

Maurice Blackburn is seeking a skilled Lawyer to join our Darwin Office on a permanent full-time basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to social justice in the Northern Territory and be part of a team committed to extending access to justice to countless Australians.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Workers' Compensation, Public Liability, and Motor Vehicle Compensation claims, as well as demonstrated litigation expertise. They will also have excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to file management, and experience working in high-volume work environments.

Responsibilities
  • Run personal injury files with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional client service and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of legal strategies and engage with clients throughout the lifecycle of their claims.
  • Attend court and mediation as required, maintaining high standards of legal work and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in Workers' Compensation, Public Liability, and Motor Vehicle Compensation claims (preferred).
  • Demonstrated litigation experience (essential).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience providing high-level client service.
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to file management.
  • Experience working in high-volume work environments.
