About Our Claims Management Service

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Claims Professional to join our team in Darwin. As part of this role, you will deliver proactive and organized claims management services to support the return to work process for injured workers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • You will be the first point of contact for injured workers, employers, medical practitioners, etc for all matters regarding a workplace injury claim;
  • You will drive the return to work process through proactive claims management services, including determining claims and injury management entitlements, scheduling appointments, undertaking regular contacts and reviews, and processing of benefits/payments, in accordance with the relevant legislation;
  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Eligibility Officers, Return to Work Specialists, Injury Management Consultants and Mental Health Consultants;
  • You will provide education to stakeholders regarding return to work processes and legislative obligations;
  • You will participate in regular claims reviews with key stakeholders;
  • You will request and obtain information to assist with the ongoing management of claims;
  • You will undertake compliance-related tasks such as accurate data entry and attaching documentation to the claims management system.

About You

We are looking for someone with a passion for helping people, who has experience in administration or customer service. A background in workers compensation, claims or other related discipline would be highly regarded.
