Job Description

This is a permanent full-time position commencing in the Department of Education, Western Australia. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Principal and members of the administrative team to provide educational leadership within the school and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and promote the school's vision for academic success and encourage school staff, volunteers, and community members to share ownership of the school's vision and goals.
  • Lead the school community to accept and develop opportunities for improved service in the Student Services Team.
  • Facilitate workforce effectiveness and provide a role model for self-development to improve professional performance.
  • Contribute to the development of the school plan through participative decision-making, including developing policy and establishing and maintaining systems.
  • Manage programs, specific curriculum areas, and general school administration, including the management of school timetable processes.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide effective leadership in a diverse range of educational settings.
  • High level of interpersonal and public relations skills that demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships to achieve planned outcomes.
  • Demonstrated professional knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure a high level of educational outcomes for all students.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage physical and financial resources.
