The Opportunity:

As a Senior Machine Assembly Coordinator at Komatsu Australia Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the end-to-end construction of machines spanning construction, utility, and quarry equipment with mining specs. This position requires a strong understanding of machine assembly, including familiarity with other trades tasks and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate skilled Technicians to carry out crucial machine building and commissioning tasks in our modern workshop.
  • Oversee each build's construction, ensuring adherence to safety and efficiency standards.
  • Evaluate work practices, identify areas for improvement, and spearhead initiatives to enhance safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain impeccable housekeeping standards in the workshop, adhering to the esteemed 5S standard.

What We're Looking For:

  • A recognised trade qualification bolstered by extensive hands-on industry experience.
  • Holistic understanding of machine assembly, including familiarity with other trades tasks and responsibilities.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, with the knack to steer and inspire a dynamic team.
  • Strong communication skills, proficiency with computer tools, and an uncompromising approach to safety.
