Transportation Operations Coordinator Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Operations Coordinator Specialist to join our team at Kelsian Group Limited.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling charter work and coordinating day-to-day operations of drivers and vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide constructive customer service to all driver enquiries regarding charter movements, route planning, rostering, driver availability, and operational matters.
- Scheduling: Schedule school runs, charters, and route services based on customer requirements and execute them on time.
- Operational Monitoring: Monitor daily charter allocations and vehicle movements to identify potential service failures.
- Problem Solving: Resolve operational shortfalls caused by delays, incidents or breakdowns by reallocation or sourcing additional vehicles and drivers.
- Rostering: Roster drivers according to competency and availability.
- Maintenance Coordination: Assist with the coordination of scheduled vehicle repair & maintenance based on asset availability and charter demand.
- Performance Reporting: Provide a monthly report detailing any shortfalls to key performance indicators and associated remedial action.
- Service Audits: Carry out retrospective service audits and historical data analysis to identify areas for improvement in the cost-effective delivery of high-level service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years experience in a similar role (preferred).
- Industry Knowledge: Ability to apply an understanding of Industry Awards and operating financials to the execution of work.
- Geographical Knowledge: Sound geographical knowledge of the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA.
- Autonomy: Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
- Computer Literacy: Advanced computer literacy.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum depending on experience.
