Operations Coordinator Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Coordinator to join our passionate team in Welshpool, WA. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for scheduling charter work and coordinating the day-to-day activities of drivers and vehicles.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to all driver enquiries received through the Driver's Line and Operations inbox regarding charter movements, route planning, rostering, driver availability, and operational matters.
- Scheduling all school runs, charters, and route services based on customer requirements and executing them on time.
- Maintaining daily charter allocations and vehicle movements to identify potential service failures.
- Resolving operational shortfalls caused by delays, incidents or breakdowns by reallocation or sourcing additional vehicles and drivers.
- Rostering drivers according to competency and availability.
- Assisting with the coordination of scheduled vehicle repair & maintenance based on asset availability and charter demand.
- Preparing a monthly report detailing any shortfalls to key performance indicators and associated remedial action.
- Conducting retrospective service audits and historical data analysis to identify areas for improvement in the cost-effective delivery of high-level service.
In this role, we require a candidate who can adapt seamlessly and problem solve effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to collaborate well within a team, and take initiative when needed. Additionally, they should have the ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight timelines.
Experience NeededTo be successful in this role, you will need at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. You should also have a sound understanding of Industry Awards and operating financials, as well as geographical knowledge of the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA. Advanced computer literacy is essential for this role.
