Job Overview

The Pricing Strategy Lead role reports directly to the Head of Secured Lending within the wider Wealth and Personal Banking Product team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for all home loan pricing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver Portfolio Profitability: Assess portfolio profitability through traditional metrics such as NPAT, margin growth, balances, growth, attrition, costs, arrears, LICs, and RoRWA.
  • Pricing and Elasticity Modelling: Develop and implement pricing and elasticity models for all products by product, loan, and segment.
  • Pricing Segmentation: Create pricing segmentation strategies across Investment, Non-Resident, Owner Occupied, and CP segments.
  • Risk Management: Identify and execute new mortgage products, complete financials, source funding, and analyse sales to improve run-off levels and profitability.
  • Data Analysis: Develop and analyse portfolio data to derive market, sales, and customer trends across the AUH market.
  • Process Improvement: Manage and streamline staff mortgage sales processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvements.
  • Liquidity Management: Manage investment lending growth reports, ensuring that returns from this segment are maximised while meeting regulatory obligations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Pricing Experience: Proven experience in a pricing or product role in asset & liability funding and managing liquidity costs.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Australian mortgage industry, current legislation, and key drivers.
  • Analytical Skills: High level of analytical and numerical skills, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, influencing, and negotiating skills, with excellent ability to develop robust working relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Degree Qualification: Degree qualification desirable.
Remuneration and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive salary package, estimated at $AUD 140,000 - $170,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a generous base salary, you can expect to receive a range of employee benefits, including market-leading subsidised private health cover, enhanced parental pay, and support when returning to work.
