Pricing Analyst Job Description

The Pricing Analyst will play a pivotal role in developing and executing pricing strategies across Plenti's core products. This involves leveraging data and financial analysis to optimise business profitability and drive improved volume and margin outcomes.

This position requires an individual with strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capabilities. The successful candidate will be able to evaluate and analyse a broad range of information, effectively communicating results and recommendations to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and executing pricing strategies and initiatives, partnering with sales leaders to optimise business profitability.
  • Continuously refining financial reporting, ensuring data-driven insights for strategic decision-making at executive and senior leadership levels.
  • Producing impactful business performance reports and analyses for key stakeholders, including the Board and Executive teams.
  • Developing and maintaining pricing analysis across large datasets using advanced analytics tools.
  • Championing the development and continuous improvement of sophisticated analytical models.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial analytics role, preferably with pricing and commercial analysis experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
  • Solid foundation in financial modelling and robust analytical skillset.
  • Proficient in SQL, with the ability to manipulate and analyse large datasets.
