The role of a Personal Care Assistant is to provide high-quality care and support to enhance the wellbeing and daily lifestyle needs of residents in our community.
- A warm and caring approach is essential for building trust with clients and their families.
- Strong communication skills are required to understand clients' needs and requirements, ensuring tailored support that meets their unique needs.
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Preparing meals and snacks according to individual dietary needs
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to quality improvement initiatives
For this role, you will require:
- A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Availability to work over 7 days per week
