Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Analyst to support our Japanese Corporate & Investment Banking (JCIB) Department in strategy planning and implementation. The successful candidate will work closely with our global and regional management stakeholders to structure business enhancement plans and deliver results with strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support JCIB strategy planning and implementation in alignment with business objectives and development aspirations
  • Assist with business tasks, including business analysis, data extraction, and presentation
  • Facilitate good communication practices across the team, including management of content and flow of information to and from management teams
  • Presentation preparation and documentation
  • Define problems and opportunities, develop solutions, and identify opportunities
  • Business analysis with specific focus on data and reporting, such as BSC, KPI, business projects
  • Liaise with regional partners and external stakeholders as a primary contact
  • Any other administrative duties requested by management

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in business management in Corporate Finance or Chartered Accounting environment
  • Sound analytical skills, including data extraction, analysis, and presentation skills
  • Good communication skills to report the state of financial condition using clear and precise descriptions
  • Strong negotiation/coordination and networking skills
  • Strategic thinking and insights, interpersonal skills to identify issues and propose solutions
  • MS Office experience with key capabilities in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence others
  • Fluent Japanese speaker (desirable)
