We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Workforce Planning Analyst to join our team at Qantas Group. As a key member of our Workforce Planning team, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing crew pairings and rostering to achieve optimal operational consistency and reduce expenses.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to present data sets and improvements to the business, and conduct thorough evaluations of various planning scenarios to identify the most economical and operationally advantageous rostering strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to drive business outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to present data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of planning scenarios to identify optimal solutions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in workforce planning with a strong understanding of workforce planning fundamentals
  • Highly developed analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced numeracy skills and ability to analyze and interpret numerical data
  • Proven ability to identify issues, develop strategic options, and facilitate or make decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
