Key Account Development Professional

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Key Account Development Professional to drive business growth within the Education and Government sectors.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of sector-specific procurement cycles, budget limitations, and decision-making processes.

This role requires strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., IT Directors, CIOs, Procurement Officers).

You will be responsible for generating qualified opportunities, developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities, and working closely with assigned account executives to develop targeted segments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating new business opportunities within Higher Education and Government sectors
  • Developing expertise in education GRC technology requirements and government compliance standards
  • Participating in conferences, vendor fairs, and sector-specific events to expand your network and stay updated on industry trends

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of B2B sales development or related experience
  • Background in selling to education or government sectors preferred
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement and RFP/RFQ processes
  • Strong research, account mapping, and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management abilities
