Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to become a vital part of our team at Regis Aged Care. This position entails delivering comprehensive maintenance services, managing equipment, and overseeing landscaping and upkeep activities throughout the premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the upkeep of machinery, equipment, buildings, and associated services.
  • Maintain accurate records of all chemicals utilized, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Keep the outdoor areas well-maintained and orderly.
  • Recognize and address preventative maintenance needs, completing tasks and documenting schedules accordingly.
  • Ensure that all preventative and corrective maintenance activities comply with legal standards and are properly recorded in relevant logs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven hands-on maintenance or handyman expertise.
  • Experience in grounds maintenance, basic painting skills, and knowledge of gardening tools is preferred.
  • Background in supervising or coordinating maintenance initiatives.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
