Role Overview
The Maintenance Officer will work closely with an experienced Site Manager at a prestigious all-girls high school located in the South East region. This position is ideal for both seasoned professionals and recent graduates eager to advance their careers in maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct general maintenance tasks across the school premises.
- Assist with repair and maintenance activities for school facilities, including tasks such as replacing locks, doors, light fixtures, and patching walls.
- Facilitate the movement of equipment and furniture as necessary.
- Support school enhancement projects, including painting and gardening initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Possess experience or qualifications in a relevant trade.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of general maintenance practices.
- Exhibit the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Showcase excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a police background check and meet requirements for working with children.
- Encouragement is extended for tradeswomen to apply.
