Position Summary
The role of Facilities Maintenance Specialist is crucial at a distinguished all-girls high school located in the South East region. Collaborate with a skilled Site Manager and contribute to the upkeep of the school environment. This position is suitable for both seasoned professionals and recent graduates seeking to advance their careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks across the facility.
- Assist with repairs and maintenance of school infrastructure, including but not limited to, replacing locks, doors, light fixtures, and patching walls.
- Facilitate the movement of furniture and equipment as necessary.
- Support improvement projects within the school, such as painting and landscaping initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Possess experience or qualifications in a relevant trade.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of general maintenance practices.
- Exhibit the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Showcase excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a police background check and obtain clearance for working with children.
