Role Overview

This position as a Maintenance Officer at a prestigious all-girls high school in the South East offers a unique chance to work closely with an experienced Site Manager. Whether you are an established professional or a recent graduate eager to advance your career, this role is an excellent fit.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform general maintenance tasks for the building.
  2. Assist with repair and maintenance duties for school facilities, including tasks such as replacing locks, doors, light bulbs, and patching walls.
  3. Relocate equipment and furniture as necessary.
  4. Support school enhancement projects, including painting and gardening initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  1. Possess experience or qualifications in a relevant trade.
  2. Have a solid understanding of general maintenance practices.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  4. Exhibit excellent communication skills.
  5. Must be able to pass a police background check and comply with child safety regulations.
