Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to become a vital part of our team at Regis Aged Care. This position is crucial for delivering comprehensive maintenance services, managing equipment, and overseeing landscaping tasks throughout the premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the upkeep of machinery, tools, buildings, and associated services.
- Maintain accurate records of all utilized chemicals, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Keep the outdoor areas well-maintained and orderly.
- Recognize and address preventative maintenance needs, completing tasks and documenting schedules accordingly.
- Ensure that all preventative and corrective maintenance actions comply with legal standards and are recorded in the appropriate logs.
Qualifications:
- Practical experience in general maintenance or handyman services.
- Experience in grounds maintenance, basic painting, and knowledge of gardening tools is preferred.
- Background in supervising or coordinating maintenance initiatives.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Current certification in First Aid & CPR.
