Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a professional background in Occupational Therapy and be passionate about working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector.

  • As an Occupational Rehabilitation Professional, you will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological, and support them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Case management; ensuring caseloads are manageable, and providing support to Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks;
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Collaborating with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
  • Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
  • Completing various assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment, and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy registered with AHPRA;
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills - building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy;
  • Well-developed time management skills are essential;
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is mandatory.
