We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our high-performing and friendly payroll team at NES Fircroft. The successful candidate will provide a proactive, customer-focused integrated payroll service, utilizing their organizational skills, ability to multitask, and process-driven approach to manage sensitive and confidential information.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Undertake the timely and accurate processing of payroll/HR records, including base pay, allowances, deductions, superannuation, tax, new hires, terminations, and employee movements.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain all personal records in line with regulatory requirements, including the creation of personnel files.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide the first point of contact for the production of HR and payroll-related reports, and resolve complex issues with employees and managers regarding entitlements and payments.
- Employee Support: Coach employees and managers on the use of HR Self Service, and seek opportunities for proactive communication with all customers and HR consultants.
- Experience: Relevant experience interpreting conditions of employment and relevant awards.
- Technical Skills: Relevant experience with ERP systems (SAP, HR Success factors is highly desirable), intermediate knowledge of Excel and Outlook applications.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate interpersonal and client service focus skills, proven ability to prioritize workload, and work in a dynamic corporate environment.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy, excellent time management and communication skills.
