About the Role
The Payroll Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing for our staff. This includes maintaining up-to-date records, processing new employee records, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and award determinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate payroll records for staff
- Contribute to ensuring HammondCare meets legislative requirements and complies with relevant Award and Agreement determinations
- Assist in the timely compilation and distribution of pay for staff
- Provide ad-hoc reports and statements of service as requested
- Keep up-to-date with legislative changes and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Work cooperatively with other team members to deliver a professional service to staff
About You
- Commitment to HammondCare's Christian Mission and values
- Tertiary degree in finance or related discipline (or significant industry experience)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a high-volume payroll processing role
- Strong administrative and MS Office skills
- Computerised payroll and time and attendance system experience
