Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the negotiation of complex employment agreements and develop strategic mandates with HR Business Partners
  • Provide end-to-end support on Employee Relations and case management matters, acting as an escalation point for HR Business Partners
  • Conduct formal investigations and provide specialist advice on industrial agreements and conditions
  • Lead Employment and Industrial relations projects and build the IR/ER capability of the P&C Team
  • Build strong relationships with Union stakeholders and develop and maintain Policies and Procedures
  • Provide expert advice on employment risks, policies, and procedures to leaders
  • Represent Cement Australia in conciliations and disputes at the Fair Work Commission
About You:

We are looking for an experienced IR/ER Business Partner with a strong background in negotiating and implementing industrial agreements. You will have contemporary knowledge of industry standards, best practice, and trends. You will be an influential and collaborative senior member of our P&C team, with strengths in providing leadership and direction to junior members.

You will be an effective communicator with all levels of the business, demonstrating excellent listening and negotiating skills. You will have well-developed forward planning, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, and be able to develop and maintain effective networks with industry, colleagues, and stakeholders.
