IR/ER Business Development Specialist

About the Role
Cement Australia is seeking an experienced IR/ER Business Partner to join our team in a critical role that requires expertise in industrial relations and employment law.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end negotiations of complex Employment Agreements (EAs) and collaborate with HR Business Partners to develop strategic mandates;
- Provide comprehensive support on Employee Relations/Industrial Relations matters, serving as an escalation point for HR Business Partners on complex ER issues;
- Conduct formal investigations and provide specialist advice on the interpretation of industrial agreements and conditions;
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation;
- Represent the organization in conciliations and disputes at the Fair Work Commission and other relevant forums;
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Experience in IR/ER Business Partnering, preferably in manufacturing, mining, or logistics;
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating and implementing industrial agreements;
- Contemporary knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and trends;
- Strong leadership and communication skills, including effective listening and negotiating abilities;
- Well-developed forward planning, analytical, and strategic thinking skills;
- Able to build and maintain effective networks with industry stakeholders, colleagues, and peers;
