On-Site Motel Manager Position

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced on-site motel management couple to oversee the daily operations of a 20 room motel in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage performance of employees, coordinate recruitment, induction, training, and development of housekeeping staff
  • Manage daily operations including front office and housekeeping
  • Provide support and training on motel standards, policies, and procedures
  • Foster a culture of continuous business improvement
  • Manage and resolve guest concerns
  • Monitor statutory and maintenance activities
Requirements:
  • Strong background in hospitality operations, staff roster, and cost control management
  • Previous management experience in a mid-sized motel is essential
  • Extensive knowledge of booking management software
  • Good understanding of housekeeping operations
  • Ability to build rapport with people
  • A driver's license is required
  • Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
