We are seeking a highly motivated couple to manage the daily operations of a 20-room motel in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hospitality, staff rostering, and cost control management.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic duo to take on a leadership role and drive business success. As our Innkeeper and On-Site Operations Manager, you will oversee the front office, housekeeping, and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage employee performance, coordinate recruitment, induction, training, and development of housekeeping staff.
  • Oversee daily operations, including front office and housekeeping.
  • Provide support and training on hotel standards, policies, and procedures, operational requirements, and business objectives.
  • Identify sales and marketing opportunities and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Resolve guest concerns in a timely and appropriate manner to ensure optimal guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in hospitality operations, staff rostering, and cost control management.
  • Previous experience as a mid-sized motel manager is essential.
  • Hands-on experience leading from the front to set the culture.
  • Extensive knowledge of booking management software.
  • Good understanding of housekeeping operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Willingness to live onsite.
