We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Partnership Specialist to join our team at CareFlight. As a key member of our fundraising and community engagement team, you will play a critical role in securing new corporate sponsorships and donations to support our mission to save lives, speed recovery, and serve the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a corporate acquisition program to achieve agreed financial targets.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including doctors, pilots, engineers, and nurses, to prepare and deliver opportunities for sponsors.
  • Grow and manage existing corporate relationships to generate increased income.
  • Deliver against sponsors' contracted inclusions.
  • Provide monthly reporting of outcomes for corporate sponsorship and donations.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager of Fundraising to set the corporate sponsorship strategy.
  • Develop reports and contribute to fortnightly fundraising leadership meetings.
  • Attend networking events and assist in CareFlight's events as required.
Requirements
  • Ability to identify and understand the operations of CareFlight to effectively align sponsors with our work.
  • Demonstrated track record in identifying top prospects and developing a structured sales acquisition strategy.
  • Demonstrated track record in acquiring and developing new business.
  • Demonstrated track record in growing existing business relationships.
  • Proven ability to develop and present a successful business proposal.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Effective time management with a focus on ROI and ability to work independently.
  • Ability and motivation to network with corporate and business partners to achieve sales objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both verbal and written).
  • Willingness and ability to make cold calls, overcome objections, and close a business deal.
  • Competence in public speaking.
  • Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Current driver's license.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Degree qualifications in business, marketing, or related area.
  • Existing corporate and business contacts who can be approached for sponsorship.
