Driving Revenue Growth for a Leading FMCG Company

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our team at Sanitarium Health Food Company. As a Key Account Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our largest customer, Woolworths, by overseeing our plant-based portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic retail category plans, with a strong understanding of the FMCG and Independent Grocery market.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet annual revenue and category targets
  • Manage trade relationships to achieve business goals and drive retailer business plans
  • Oversee Trade Spend and Ops budgets, ensuring efficient trade fund processes and accurate reporting
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning for accurate forecasting and coordinate with VRP to enhance supply chain efficiencies
  • Foster a supportive team environment, aligned with Sanitarium's values, and maintain strong relations with the Field Sales Team
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the market and competitors, providing strategic input and optimising account plans with Business Managers and peers

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Sales, Marketing, or Finance
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a National Account Role or equivalent business development roles
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing strategic retail category plans
  • Strong understanding and commitment to compliance with all relevant legislation, including ACCC regulations applicable to Sanitarium Health Food Company
  • Knowledge of FMCG and the Independent Grocery market
  • Proficient in overseeing the financial dimensions of the Trade Spend model to maximise budget efficiency and support revenue growth

A competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience
