Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced customer service professional to join our team as a Technical Sales Support Specialist. In this role, you will interact with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to handle pre-sales and post-sales service functions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage customer orders, phone, and email inquiries regarding price, delivery, and product selection.
  2. Respond to customer technical inquiries with information provided by Hub TSEs and/or Product Management.
  3. Update key accounts with regular open order status reports.
  4. Collaborate with Industrial and Utility Sales teams to support allocated customer bases.
  5. Identify new business opportunities and engage relevant team members to close deals.
  6. Help clients identify additional needs from our product portfolio.
  7. Review daily booking reports – Commercial and Scheduling – and check for order entry accuracy, highlighting delivery concerns to Logistics.
  8. Attend to customer queries on outstanding orders, providing proactive feedback on rescheduled delivery information to Key Account Customers (KAC) as advised by the Supply Department.
  9. Provide accurate information in a timely manner to Logistics, Stores, and Production to enable dispatch meeting customer requests.
  10. Complete paperwork interfacing with other departments, including requests for credit and customer returns, ensuring approval by the appropriate level defined in the DOA.
  11. Attend meetings chaired by the Supply Chain Manager & Sales Manager for updates on sales performance and Key Account Customer sales strategy.
  12. Undertake other duties as required from time to time by the Sales Operations Manager.

Requirements

  1. Secondary Education Level.
  2. High proficiency with SAP, Microsoft, and MRP applications.
  3. Ability to organize self and manage multiple tasks.
  4. Previous customer service/sales experience essential.
  5. The ability to adapt to different types of customers.
  6. Manage high workloads with quick, accurate responses to customer inquiries.
  7. Communicate confidently and effectively.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
