Site Project Manager

Berkeley Vale, New South Wales, Australia Sanitarium Full time

Sanitarium is seeking a Site Project Manager to join our Berkeley Vale Manufacturing site on a permanent basis.

This role is accountable for ensuring a robust change management process is in place to deliver major and minor capital expenditure investments at site across product, packaging, build and process change initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to achieving project goals, be self-motivated, a strong leader and team player.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing professional project management activities within an FMCG environment covering multi-disciplinary engineering fields
  • Manage project needs and expectations and deliver to budget and schedule.
  • Ability to read and understand detailed engineering design of systems used in site manufacturing services.
  • Effectively manage relationships and communications with project stakeholders to meet time and budget requirements.
  • Work with a team of trades along with third party resources as needed to deliver project outcomes.
  • Provide recommendations and influence on engineering capital investment options.
  • Objectively assess machine specifications against required operational need.
  • Maintain compliance to standards and regulatory authorities.
  • Report on active projects

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or trade qualification in related field
  • 10+ years Project Management experience
  • Strong understanding of project delivery, including financial acumen and project schedules.
  • Proven experience delivery CAPEX projects, specifically around building works.
  • Extensive food manufacturing experience with an in depth understanding of GMP and hygienic equipment design for food industry.
  • Understanding of AutoCAD, Inventor and BMS Software
  • Strong relationship management skills/experience
  • Must be currently based in Australia
  • Willing to commute to Berkeley Vale, NSW 5 days a week.
