Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnership Manager to join our team at Deputy. As a key member of our partnership team, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our embedded product partnerships.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive GTM strategy for our joint-embedded solution with Xero, in collaboration with our Marketing team.
  • Work closely with our Product leadership to craft the optimal solution to maximize attach rates and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage executive stakeholders at Deputy and Xero, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Advocate for data-driven decision making and influence stakeholders to prioritize Deputy.
  • Triage cross-functional issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Think creatively to identify new partnership opportunities and develop compelling 1+1>2 stories.
  • Build and socialize business cases to articulate the potential impact of partnership initiatives.
  • Participate in sales trainings, webinars, and other events to drive partner engagement.
  • Influence the Partner Marketing roadmap to create high-value content for our partnership ecosystem.
  • Track pipeline metrics and maintain dashboards to communicate channel distribution effectiveness.
  • Advocate for the Deputy partner program across the ecosystem.
  • Respond to new partner integration requests and provide Advocate & ISV program support.
Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Partnerships experience within a SaaS organization.
  • Proven project management experience with the ability to influence cross-functionally.
  • Experience working within ISV (integration) partnerships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity in an evolving, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with embedded product partnerships.
  • Experience negotiating complex partnerships with executive stakeholders.
  • High growth company experience, comfortable working in environments of ambiguity.
