Technical Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Job Description:

  • Project Delivery: Ensure timely and within-estimate delivery of assigned technical tasks
  • Product Installation and Upgrades: Responsible for successful installation, testing, certification, and upgrades of software within customer environments
  • Data Migration: Collaborate with project teams to determine data migration requirements, develop migration scripts, and test migration processes
  • Integration and Customisation: Configure and test API and web service integrations and develop customisations as required
  • Testing and Support: Work with project teams to test end-to-end solutions and provide ongoing support during user acceptance testing and go-live phases
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Provide onsite consulting services on an ad-hoc basis to assist customers with solution maintenance, problem resolution, health checks, tuning, and customisation
  • Best Practice Contributions: Contribute to continuous improvement in methodologies through 'best practice' contributions, including improvements in methodology, Communities of Practice, and Body of Knowledge

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in implementing technical solutions
  • Knowledge and experience with Relational Database Management Systems such as SQL Server or Oracle, knowledge of SQL
  • Exposure to general use and administration of Microsoft operating systems (Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10), exposure to Unix (Solaris) is also beneficial
  • Programming experience in one of the following languages: C/C++, Java,.Net
  • Good to have: Experience of working with public sector customers
