Job Title: Technical Solution Developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Technical Solution Developer to join our Canberra team, providing comprehensive technical solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert advice on designing and deploying C4I systems, working closely with customers and defence industry partners.
  • Understand customer strategies and assist in determining business and technical requirements for developing solutions or solution alternatives.
  • Contribute to Australian Army input into product roadmaps and participate in beta testing of new features and releases.
  • Communicate the impact of changes and new products in C41 software suites on customers.
  • Design and depict concepts and solutions using rich graphical methods.
  • Conduct technical workshops for customers and internally.
  • Lead others in solving complex problems based on existing solutions and processes, considering multiple perspectives and diverse sources of information.
  • Participate in delivering pre-sales and post-sales advice and support to various customers and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to writing the technical part of proposals and providing estimates for technical solutions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline as minimum; Masters highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture, security architecture standards, frameworks, and practices.
  • TOGAF, DODAF, or AUSDAF qualifications highly valued.
  • Understanding of administration and operation of military command information systems, tactical radio devices, and radio networks, and ITIL.
  • Good breadth of knowledge across all IT domains, including Integration, Cloud, User Experience, and business process.
  • Experience in applying technology solutions to customer problems proactively.
  • Experience in managing relationships with customers, IT teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • NV1 Security Clearance.
