**Corporate Development Associate**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Development Associate to join our team at Platinum Pacific Partners. As a key member of our corporate development team, you will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic financing transactions to support our company's growth and expansion into new markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Transaction Identification and Evaluation: Lead the identification and evaluation of strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other business development opportunities.
- Financial Analysis and Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence to assess the viability of potential transactions and ensure alignment with our company's strategic objectives.
- Negotiation and Deal Execution: Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate and execute transaction agreements, ensuring smooth integration of acquired assets and businesses.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including external advisors, investors, and other business partners.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare high-quality reports and analysis to support executive decision-making and ensure transparency throughout the transaction process.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or a similar role.
- Skills: Proven track record in financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence; experience in the North American market with a major infrastructure fund; strong understanding of Canadian investors and the core-plus infrastructure market in Canada.
- Personal Qualities: Exceptional analytical skills; strong understanding of commercial and strategic considerations; excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
