About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager - Corporate to join our Group Finance team at Mister Sparky Corporate Store. As a key member of our team, you will provide commercial and decision support analysis, delivering key insights from costing trends and drivers.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will provide business partnering and support to our Corporate business functions, including Technology, People & Culture, Property, Finance & Operations, Legal, Governance & Investments. You will be a trusted advisor, supporting stakeholders throughout the various planning cycles and providing an independent source of financial advice and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Modelling
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions and strategic planning.
    • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Business Partnering and Support
    • Provide commercial and financial support to Corporate business functions, including Technology, People & Culture, Property, Finance & Operations, Legal, Governance & Investments.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders and business partners.
  • Strategic Planning and Advice
    • Provide strategic financial advice and guidance to support business growth and development.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
    • Communicate financial results and insights to stakeholders, including senior leaders and business partners.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • CPA/CA qualified or equivalent.
    • 3-5 years' experience in commercial management in a large organisation, preferably in a similar industry sector.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficient use of financial and reporting tools (Oracle, TM1).
